Pretrip Planning

What does it take to plan Karl’s most ambitious project yet? Take a look behind the scenes at stylist meetings, trampoline tests, maps and planning meetings, castings, test fittings, equipment tests, logistics meetings and a pre-trip test shoot. These are just some of the lengths Karl and the team had to go to in order to get this trip up and running.

I’ve just finished watching the entire Fashionscape program and thought I would write a comment here for anyone watching this first one.

WATCH them all – this is brilliant material.

The photos produced from this professional shoot are stunning.

There is so much I learned in this program. The challenges of planning and adapting once you are on the ground. The management, motivation and leading of the team throughout. The storyline and themes for each photo in the series. The problems to solve with weather, alarm clocks, dresses and a host of other details.

Karl – speaking for myself I would sign up to pay be a learning participant for a location based shoot. This seemed like a rewarding experience.

    What an amazing program.

  2. Karl – from my experience, the rectangular trampolines generate more lift and occupy less space as well. They need more experience to use safely but the difference in the jump height is significant.
