Full frame vs crop sensor
The sensor in your camera is the CCD or CMOS chip that captures the light to record the image. It’s the thing in your camera that replaced film! And just like film, they come in different sizes and formats. So in this video Karl takes a look at sensor sizes. For those of you who are a bit confused about what a ‘full frame sensor’ is in relation to a ‘crop sensor’ and just what all this means for your photography then check out this video where he explains it all in his usual no nonsense style!

Hi Karl? I own nikon d3300 and I shooting product photography. if I need to raise towards semi professional camera body: is it better to stay on aps-c camera like nikon d500 or
switch to full frame like d750 or d810 ? Thanks indeed for your feedback
Hi it would be better to go to full frame 35mm.
Great explanation. BUT I’m also totally impressed with how perfectly you drew that circle!
