Canon 5D Mark 2 vs Canon 7D Comparison

The Canon 5dmk2 and the Canon 7D are two great cameras but.. Which camera is best and why? Which features really matter? Having used both cameras I give you my overview of the key points that matter.

    Was thinking about upgrading my 7D to the new 7DII or the Canon 90D, do you have any thoughts on the comparison of the 7DII compared to the 90D?

    1. I’d like to help but unfortunately I can’t as it’s been a long time since I used a 7D and I’m not familiar with the newer models. I’d always say though that for me lenses are more important (quality glass, L series etc) makes a bigger difference to the results than a few extra mega pixels or more frames per second or faster focus etc. Cheers Karl.

    1. Hi, we use Sandisk and as long as they have a good write speed you’ll be fine. Most cameras can take 2 types of cards, either SD or CF and sometimes both at the same time if you want a back up but I don’t bother with that.

  3. I use at this time a 5D MKII and 7D and it is time to upgrade both to the 5DMKIII for the 7D and I will keep using the MKII for my quick landscapes
